retention systems to retain the box, pack or part.

Available in mild or stainless steel, the Mogensen vibrating table provides a reliable vibrating surface that can be used in many industries, to compact and settle loose materials. Two or more vibrators are utilised to provide a vertical, linear action to the table top providing the correct amplitude for each product.
Minimal maintenance requirements combined with a rugged, no fuss design equals a reliable and cost effective vibratory medium. Compaction tables can be designed and manufactured to be included within existing or new process lines and be linked to control systems which will provide exact timings and frequencies as well as raising or lowering the tables to enable operation within roller track systems etc.
The basic principles of vibratory compaction are as
follows:
1. Vibratory force: A compactor machine equipped with a vibrating mechanism is used to apply dynamic forces to the material being compacted. The vibration induces oscillatory motion in the particles, causing them to settle and reorganise.
2. Particle re-arrangement: When the vibratory force is applied, the particles of the granular material move relative to each other. This movement allows the particles to settle into a more densely packed configuration, filling the void spaces between them.

3. Reduction of air voids: One of the primary purposes of vibratory compaction is to reduce
the presence of air voids within the material. Air voids can weaken the structure of material and decrease its load-bearing capacity. Vibrations help to expel the air and compact the material.

4. Increased density: As the particles are rearranged and air voids are eliminated, the material’s overall density increases. Higher density leads to improved load-bearing capacity, stability, and resistance to settlement.

5. Enhanced shear strength: Vibratory compaction not only increases the density but also improves the interlocking of particles. This results in higher shear strength, making the compacted material more resistant to deformation under loads or lateral forces.
6. Improved workability: Vibratory compaction can improve the workability of certain materials, making them easier to shape or mould for construction purposes.
